Best Smartphones 2022
right so you want to know what the best
smartphones are for the premium
mid-range and budget sectors want to
know whether to buy now or wait for
upcoming devices in the next few months
if the answer is yes then this video is
for you, i will also be giving away two
of these smartphones that are currently
on this desk but more on that shortly so
currently we are right now in the middle
of two waves of smartphone releases the
back end of 2021 and the spring of 2022
so there's a real dearth of new phones
to buy but you still might want one o
need one so i've compiled a list hit of
current smartphones that excel in
certain categories that still might be
great for you to buy right now but also
some phones within each said category
that are currently being launched or are
on the cusp of being launched over the
next couple of months that you might
just want to hang around for subscribe
and turn on notifications if you enjoyed
this sort of content but right now let's
turn our attention to the budget or
valley for money area and i've got two
that i've been currently using and also
three that you might want to possibly
wait a little bit while long a little
bit while long form fong a little while
longer for been doing this for a fair
few years now and i still can't speak s
for the first one in this section it'
really the value where this next phone
really hits the nail on the head because
it's not crazy cheap but this phone does
cover pretty much all of the major bases
and pretty competitively and all for
just around
250 uk pounds dollars this is the poco
f3 for me this is one of the most
impressive builds in terms of feeling
the hand on a phone of its price like
legitimately if you told me that this
phone was a thousand pounds
at first impressions i wouldn't really
argue gorgeous frosted pearl rear
a 120 hertz full hd plus amoled display
stereo speakers 4520 mah battery 33 watt
fast charging close to stock software
and a 48 megapixel triple camera with
ultra wide and a macro so basically just
a dual camera because
macro cameras on budget phones
the chip inside also is i wouldn't say
flagship but it's pretty close
flagship the snapdragon 875 g and fo
reference here are some benchmarks not a
huge difference as mentioned i'm not a
fan of the small amount of ads that are
baked by default into the software when
downloading apps for example but these
can be turned off in settings overall a
top phone but if you wanted to wait till
march april time couple more months then
we believe its successor the f4 is due
to be announced traditionally poco has
kind of been the global version of t
redmi k series of phones so if the spec
leaks have an industry-leading
snapdragon 801 chip 12 gigabytes of rm
and 4700 mah battery with 120 watt fast
charging of the soon to launch redmi k50
pro or anything to go by then the global
pocket f4 series could be one of the
most impressive of 2022. now if you
don't want to spend that much money on a
brand new device a true budget option
you could go for is this here infinix
hot 10s and
strange naming scheme aside
hot tennis
it's a bi
bit bit weird but it offers a lot fo
its 100 150 price tag infinix i believe
are based in hong kong and they really
started making a name for themselve
creating really affordable devices
and packing quite a lot in there this
earphone is no different we have a large
6.82 inch lcd display it is only 720p
but it is 90 hertz and it looks pretty
decent android 11 mediatek helio g85
chip and a huge 6000 mah battery cell
are all involved we have a headphone
jack for those die hards out there are
you a bruce willis fan
shocking
shocking sorry and we also have a 48
megapixel triple camera array there are
downsides of course for the price
xos launcher is pretty heavy i would
personally prefer something closer to
stock and high-end gaming for example
would be a struggle but another good
budget option here right i hear some of
you say what about apple according to
most the inventor of the smartphone well
the 2022 brand new iphone se model is
believed to be announced in march april
time originally many believed there
would be a design overhaul on the
already outdated looking 2020 model
which was of course modeled on t
iphone 8. so leaks of a similar look to
the iphone 10r were hyped early on but
as time has gone on a spec bomb the
addition of 5g and a possible plus si
model might be the only major changes
we're gonna see the same forehead chin
physical touch id button the works
enough to satisfy essie enthusiasts for
another couple of years
maybe i just hope they up the batter
capacity of the new se because
to be polite this one kinda sucks
something that the final
phone in the budget category
does not share the xiaomi 11i which will
retail for around 300 pounds contains a
5160
battery and with that you will also get
a 6.67 inch 120hz amoled panel stereo
speakers the six nanometer mediatek
dimension 925g chipset and up to eight
gigabytes of ram again looks great for
the money right so you've seen your
budget options
but you're sat there thinking well it's
leaving a little bit to be desired i
want a taste of premium but i don't want
to spend a fortune still welcome to the
premium budget the mid-range the
flagship killer phones that are almost
flagship but have a few caveats to bring
the price down first up is the pixel
6 a absolutely fantastic all-round phone
for its 599 price tag google's own
tensor chip inside is beaten on pure
numbers by the best from apple and
qualcomm for example but in terms of
everyday use you won't notice in the
slightest on top of that you get the
latest pure stock android 12 a solid
4614 mah battery a 90 hertz 6.4 inc
amoled display the strongest gorilla
glass victors and of course the
legendary pixel photography experience
it basically shares the exact same
camera setup as the pro model
minus the telephoto lens so a 50
megapixel primary and a 12 megapixel
ultra wide and yes some
photos might not be quite as consistent
as say the best from apple the iphone 13
pro max which i also use all the best
from samsung for example but when it
gets it right in my opinion there is no
other
camera phone like it and just for the
record some people will tell you that
the iphone 13 series takes the best
portrait and selfies going
but they're they're wrong aren't they
subjectively of course edge detection
and contrast color temperature and the
cinematic feel to the shot again when it
nails it there's absolutely nothing li
it i've been saying it for two to three
years samsung apple xiaomi huawei they
all take great photos but in this
department
there's nothing like a pixel other great
options in this flagship killer area of
the market uh the xiaomi 11t pro with
its 5000 mah battery and a whopping 120
watt fast charging offering naught to
100 in under 20 minutes a 108 megapixel
triple camera up to 12 gigabytes of ram
stereo speakers and a flagship level
snapdragon 888 chipset all for just
549 uk pounds
madness xiaomi are famed for their
insane value for money devices but th
fastest growing smartphone company
ever
real me also have been known to ofer
such devices and real me are certainly a
brand to look out for in 2022. the me gt
explorer master edition was
naming aside probably
it's too long
it's probably the best designed phone at
the back end of last year i mean it's an
absolute beaut probably alongside the
oppo find x3 pr
absolutely love these two devices but
the feel in the hand
being a mid-range priced phone
is just nothing comparable in this area
four 500 pound dollar price tag
snapdragon 875 g 50 megapixel triple
camera stereo speakers and a 4 500 mah
battery really great package as is its
air the gt2 pro which offers some
incredible features but unfortunately
for me fits no longer into the flagship
killer bracket because quite simply it's
a 900 price tag it's straight premium
flagship but that price is
understandable considering what it
offers for that price you do get the
first ever smartphone to ship with the
snapdragon 801 and it also is the firt
smartphone to use a 50 megapixel
ultrawide lens that has a 150 degree
field of view remarkable how much of
scene you can capture with this this is
placed alongside a 50 megapixel primary
and a three megapixel microscope lens
with 40 times magnification 5000 mah
battery 65 watt fast charging android 12
12 gigabytes of ram and a 6.7 inch quad
hd plus 120hz ltpo amoled display
protected by gorilla glass victus hugely
compelling this phone will go directly
up against the soon to launch samsung
galaxy s22 ultra and the xiaomi 12 pro
of which i've already done a video
comparing the two which i will leave
listed in the video description below
and that just launched one plus 10 pro
which on paper looks again very similar
another 6.7 inch quad hd plus 120hz ltpo
amoled display 5000 mah battery 48
megapixel triple camera with ultra wide
and telephoto and 12 gigabytes of ram
decent but nothing really new design
wise and still a hole punch front camera
if you did want a phone with under the
display camera technology you could try
something like this here zte accent 30
although to be honest in terms of camera
picture quality the under the display
versions are still just okay the cavet
for this full screen beauty is
definitely the fact that photos still
look pretty soft and almost like there's
a slight smear on the lens not worth the
trade-off for me personally but it might
be for you if you're not a
pouting king or queen
what is that
is that good photo
the two phones i currently am using as
my dailies you probably won't be
surprised to know is the google pixel 6
pro and th
iphone 13 pro max have to use one
android phone and one iphone simply
because they both do things great
differently and it's good for
comparisons etc and the reason why it's
these two is pretty simple brilliant
battery life on both like seriously
great the iphone just shades it but
neither will give you an issue because
apple and google make the hardware and
software of each they can really be
optimized for optimum performance here
also as expected great cameras on both
possibly prefer the photography of the
pixel slightly uh but video is better on
the iphone just subjectively nice
designs on both although the build
quality does seem to have stood the test
of time better on the iphone look at
that crack on the pixel 6 pro
i have noticed that some of the software
bugs of android 12 and the pixel phone
haven't really been ironed out
properly yet there's definitely work to
be done there but yeah i am still using
that currently on the android side of
course the new wave of android phones
will be coming out very soon and it's
possible that the sim card may switch
from there i won't go into too much more
detail on both of these because chances
are if you don't know about them by now
you're probably not that interested an
i have done full dedicated videos and
quite detailed ones on both phones so go
and check them out if you're interested
underrated phone currently available for
me
is
this
vivo x70 pro plus i also have
uh
the
standard pro which is slightly smaller
uh this is the sort of full spend
experience on that series of phones but
quite frankly it matches
pretty much any phone that you've got on
this desk here um and it's got some very
very key
individual
unique elements especially with the
camera as well and quite frankly not
many people have been talking that much
about it so yeah this is a
great option snapdragon 8 plus 12
gigabytes of ram quad hd plus 120hz ltpo
amoled panel so variable refresh rates
from 120 to 1 where needed to preserve
battery and uh not the highest but
fairly decent 4500 mah battery cell it's
well designed in terms of appearance it
looks very classy in this sort of
anti-smudge uh anti-fingerprint uh
coating on the reverse looks a bit like
if batman currently had a phone
this might be it
you can you can quote me on that viva if
you want i mean that's a great line that
if batman had a phone
so great all-round package but the 50
the megapixel quad camera is the key piece
here it produces some truly unbelievable
results i still as you would expect
think the pixel phones are the ones to
beat for portrait and selfies but for
standard shots night mode which is
incredible and just all round
customization of a phone camera the x70
pro plus is pure dynamite side note if
pure customization and pro mode
photography on a phone is your thing
then you're probably best going for one
of the sony phones like the Xperia 5
mark iii because quite frankly for the
pro photographers out there it offers
something that no other phone really
does the overall phone still also has
most of the flagship features you would
expect snapdragon 888 120hz OLED panel
and a 4500mah battery it's just a
traditionally sony phones look uh a
little bit
outdated
bland to be polite um you might like
them that's fine i just think that
personally, if they did make some slight
changes design-wise made them a little
bit funkier um
they would probably have quite a big um
sales boost because actually spec-wise
they are good phones just my
opinion of course and there are plenty
of opinions out there that might like
that sort of look um honorable mention i
have another one that hits a little bit
different and that is the oppo find n
like the smaller form factor
compared to other competitors and it
offers a nice alternative in this
ever-growing crowded foldable area of
the market right so giveaway time uh i
have two phones like I said that I'm
going to be giving away one is going to
be over on my Twitter the other is going
to be over on my Instagram
underscore it I'm going to be mentioning
how you can enter in the next couple of

because i will keep you updated on that
competition here as well so you don't
want to miss anything
make sure you're following the channels

it helps me and it helps you i mean what
i mean that's a fair trade right
give me a little follow
i'll give a couple of phones away that's
new year new me
horrible see you later
I'll see you in the next one
Tell me best phones with Good Camera , Charging n storage
